Long Beach, CA - "Today's new unemployment numbers demonstrate once again that the Bush economic plan is the wrong solution for our failing economy. America's manufacturing sector lost jobs for the 37th straight month in a row and five million Americans are working part-time because they cannot find full-time work. Today, the president continues his jobs tour in Wisconsin, a state that has lost more than 47,000 jobs since he took office. While our nation faces the greatest job loss since Herbert Hoover, the president has done nothing to reverse his failing economic agenda.

"It is time we elect a president whose number one focus is on creating good-paying jobs here in the U.S. Every idea I am proposing has one goal: to grow the economy, create jobs and get Americans working again."
